Nestled in the quaint village of Kondrau, Kondrauer Hof offers a unique culinary experience that showcases the essence of Bavarian hospitality. Although I arrived a bit late due to traffic, I missed the chance to enjoy a traditional meal at the on-site restaurant, which closes at 10 PM. Next time, I'll certainly plan my arrival better! The breakfast buffet the following morning was memorable. The spread was far superior to what I've encountered at many higher-rated hotels. Fresh bread, local cheeses, and an inviting selection of fruits greeted me, complemented by Mrs Birner's attentive service. It reminded me of the vibrant markets I'd seen in Tunisia, where the rich flavors of the Med meet heartfelt hospitality. The shared wooden balcony offered a peaceful view of the garden, perfect for sipping coffee. Although the restaurant ambiance was inviting, I look forward to savoring a Bavarian dish next time. Kondrauer Hof is a great escape for food enthusiasts like myself.
